The most reliable, friendliest and knowledgeable company I have found in a wide range of contracting work. Avid Handyman is my design company's go to for all my renovation needs. Kitchen,
baths, painting, tiling and TV installs, they are readily available and even on short notice they can send someone out immediately. They are always on time and complete the job quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Anton and his crew, their work always comes out amazing.

Avid were restoring our antique brownstone entrance doors. It was quite a significant job required to sand the doors to the bare food, repair some panel cracks, repainting with color matching to other wooden panels behind the door. Also the frame around the door needed the same job to be performed. Folks from Avid made an amazing work at a competitive price. They were also great at communicating details and options and giving updates.

I originally contracted AVID Handy men to fix a leak in my roof. I was so pleased with their expediency and professionalism, I then contracted them to do my bathroom renovation. From step a-z everything went so smoothly and I'm so happy with the finished product, that I've now contracted AVID and Hoboken Custom Craft to renovate my mother's kitchen!

We have used Avid in the past for a number of smaller projects (kitchen tile backsplash, install back patio sun shades, etc) and have had good experiences. So when we decided to redo both bathrooms, we decided to try them for a larger project. Overall, it was a good decision. They were highly responsive and very helpful from planning/quotes through to final touch-ups. As with any large project, a number of unexpected issues arose that conflicted with our original ideas. But Avid was highly capable and able to help us work through each on to our satisfaction. We are very happy with both bathrooms.

Installed new front door, difficult job because of the lean in our building but they got it nice and level. Came back for finishing touches and stuck with original invoice price.

Very responsive to the constant changes from Home Depot delivery timing; we had to reschedule a few times.

I contracted Avid to finish a home renovation after the GC absconded before the job was completed. Avid were very responsive, arrived when they said they would, and completed a variety of tasks reliably and professionally. The workmanship is of a high standard and I would unreserved recommend Anton and his team.

Avid is a top quality contractor. Not only do they care about the job, they care about your home and the area they are working in. Very professional and extremely careful. Contractors came and did an excellent job. They were pleasant and personable. Their prices were a little more than I anticipated, but I was so pleased that I didn't mind. That being said, their prices are absolutely compeititve when looking at high-quality establishments ...and that's what they are. I would use them again.

Used Avid to create an exhaust vent opening in my new kitchen cabinet and mount new microwave. I was able to get same day appointment. Ron arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. It wasn't cheap, it is Hoboken after all, but you get what you pay for. Great work, I think I will use them again for handyman services.

I am a new homeowner with no practical skills and finding Avid Handyman Services has been essential in getting our new home in order. Kyle and his crew came through at first to do a job that involved moving a very heavy all in one washer/dryer - other handymen saw it and made excuses - Avid stepped up and did the work. We've used them ever since on a wide range of jobs and have nothing but good reviews!

Anton and his team are fantastic. I initially found Avid Handyman when looking for someone to hang my television. They did a great job and we liked dealing with them so much we asked if they would be interested in replacing our fence. Anton worked with us on every step of the project, he was visible and is always available for questions and advice via email, text, and phone call. We decided on a horizontal cedar fence and it is gorgeous. Beyond that his workers showed up on time, they worked hard all day, and were respectful of our home. We can not wait to work with Anton again on the next phases of our yard project as well as other things we lined up for the interior. A+

Everyone at Avid has been super responsive. Kyle did a great job troubleshooting and then fixing an electrical issue in our bathroom. Even with special ordering a part, AND a holiday weekend, the job was finished in under a week. Will definitely use them again and refer them to friends.

Avid has helped me out immensely over the past few yrs. They've been an invaluable asset - my one stop shop for dozens of home improvement projects both big & small. Working with them has been really convenient, I don't have to search for a different contractor every time an issue around the house comes up. There hasn't been anything they couldn't fix, install or build. One of my favorite projects they did is new flooring installed and a restored hardwood staircase. The Pergo flooring & hard wood stairway have had a lot of wear & tear but have held up really well - they still look as good as when they were first installed/done. This is just one example of a bigger, planned project, but they've also gotten me out of dozens of smaller 'jams'. Most recently, my bathroom fan/light stopped working. They responded right away and fixed it quickly & without hassle. It's a huge help/relief having a reliable 'go to place' for just about anything I need help with.
